Having guests over is amusing, but tiring.

Walking through the hallways on the first full day of school, it's quite amusing how easy it is to tell apart the old timers from the grade eights (and the transfer students).

1. I like earrings, but I don't like pierced ears. Something bout the shiny glittery ones just draws me to them, but the whole hole in the ear thing throws me off. If I'm ever wearing any, they'll be clip ons.

2. I have more webcomics lined up to read than I do ones that I'm actually reading. Seeing as I have over a page of comics that actually update regularily, that's saying something. And I'm not even talking bout the manga series that I read yet XD Doesn't help that I'm prone to adding new ones to that list, regardless of how long I know it to be.

3. I generally like how people look with glasses more than if they're wearing contacts. Unless they're wearing those old school ones with lenses more than three times the size of their eyes. Those are just ugly.

4. You can listen to my itunes library for hours on end and still not encounter a single song that's in english. Most of the english songs are very outdated.

5. I can be extremely jealous of people. I just try not to show it. Although I'm not sure how good I am at that.

6. When armed with a camera, I will take pictures of practically anything and everything. Except people. I hate taking pictures of people.

7. I've liked more people than I can remember, but I've never gotten the guts to ask them out. On a slightly related note, I've liked more characters than actual people.

8. I've been known to go on "extreme emo sessions" and whine to someone on MSN about how no one ever listens to what I say. Which is probably a false accusation (hopefully).

Went to get my eyes checked on Friday, little change, though my glasses will need changing, since they're at least a prescription behind. So, I'm considering contacts. Anyone have any insights as to how well they work, how (un)comfortable they are, are they worth the money, how much should I expect to pay, etc?
